Shelter and Housing
We are one of the largest providers of housing targeted to women, gender diverse people and their families in Canada.
Our housing portfolio includes emergency shelter beds for homeless single women and gender diverse people, emergency shelters for women, gender diverse people and children fleeing violence, a transitional housing project, and over 820 units of permanent, supportive housing. We shelter and house over 2,000 women, gender diverse people and children annually. We believe that access to safe, affordable housing is a human right, and we advocate at all levels of government for investment in affordable housing.
